Haven't had a chance to get back out and mess with it. I was going to make my way out the other day to wire it up and play with the mounts more but I could not find the harness. I suspect one of the kids packed it away with the Christmas decorations without me noticing and rather than drive myself nuts unloading everything from the attic again and than unloading a ton of totes I spent the $15 and ordered another one from Cali-Raised. Once I get out to wire it I will probably see if I can get it more centered. Anyone else run into this issue? Like I said earlier, it's literally a 1/4" at most. Not a lot but enough to get my OCD kicking. Curious to see if anyone else has experienced this or if the slightly off center is normal.

This is the first I have heard of this happening. There is some room in the hole on the mounts to move it a little in either direction. It way also be the plastic in the grill could be slightly off to one side, but with nothing to reference you never would notice. Or more than likely a combination of a few things. I would try and adjust with the holes in the mounts. Then if you still can't get it as desired it may take some pushing on the mounts to move them over a little bit. Could probably be done with a piece of wood leveraged off the frame or something. Every vehicle made has slight differences from the manufacturing processes. It was 5 degrees colder the day your truck was made and the plastic or metal parts cured a tiny bit different. Add in how many parts are on a truck and the same efforts with the mounts. We build every mount in a fixture but there are a thousand little variables when welding or bending stuff. There is actually a station on the assembly line where guys have pry bars and mallets and other stuff and they go through the truck and "adjust" body panels and what not to get them fitting perfect after being installed. It's actually kind of funny to see.

They are not slotted but the holes are over sized, so there is a little bit of room. Like I said, first time I have ever had this issue so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

    PREMIUM HARNESSES ARE READY!!!!

Just got this box in the mail and did a fast test, works perfect!!!

    IMG_20170102_123715_zpspqgzihuw_fbb42bca460a295000d57ac87e5e443ca59eb4d9.jpg

When the head lights are off, no illumination. When you push the button, the image lights up.
When the head lights are on, the words illuminate. When you push the button you have both the words and the image light up.

There is a 42" illumination lead on the harness. This will allow you to install the switch either on the left side of the steering wheel or in the center of the dash. The tap a fuse is also a separate part. This way you can route the wire without any issues, then make the final connection once everything is in place. The add a fuse allows for the stock fuse to remain in use and also adds a fuse to the illumination wire for full protection. This harness is badass!!!

On my website now for order. I have 25 in hand and more will be ready in another two weeks. If you have any questions please let me know!

What color is the illumination? I would be looking for amber to match my other dash lights.

I will do a write up when I have time. It is honestly super easy. The harness needs three connections. There is a positive and negative that go to the battery. There is the plug that goes into the LED. And there is the add a fuse that you plug into the tail light fuse. And the rest is just running wires or switches to places you desire.

They are amber illuminated. If anyone wants another color or different size switch you can buy any of the Mic Tuning Toyota style switched and they will plug right into the harness.

    You can splice into
The illumination wire. I wouldn't mess with the fuse part.
