I think short bed caps come up 3 times as often as long bed caps.

Just in case a long bed Leer with sliding windows went up today, just saw it a little while ago if anyone's interested. I think it was going for 600? :notsure:

I've been keeping an eye out for one, but I'm not 100% sure if I want a cap, or just a tonneau cover.

My cap cost me $370 on CL. The rear hinge was a bit iffy, but it was black and uncracked.

I promptly broke out the back window repairing the hinge and ended up spending $370 for a new assembly, so my crazy deal went to an acceptable deal.

I think I will eventually replace my tonneau cover with a a cap for the winter. I like the ability for hidden storage, but height is an issue 90% of the time I have something in the bed.

I just saw that....same one as mine, not a bad price. I would have jumped on it back when I was looking.

Same here, I ran a tonneau on all my trucks but over the years I've accumulated quite a few items that have taken up residence in the back of the truck. I've found that the cap has given me my best solution that works for my needs with both space and security.

Finally replaced my driveshaft today. Been needing to do it but it was always a timing thing. Finally had both me and my wife off from work with good weather

The whole replacement isn't a bad job, it's when you have to mess with u job into and the carrier bearing that it takes some time.

Been there done that. This one has pretty low miles (40 something K). U-joints and center bearing all felt good so just a easy swap
Well I know this one is way too long for the runner. Don't worry gonna try to get it running as soon as the spring gets here
