Many times stolen vehicles end up in odd places. Althought this location is far out. Theres an area by my house by Bobs Big Boy where stolen vehicles get taken to be stripped. Shitty fucks.

After listening to the gf snooze her alarm 9 times now I'm giving up on wheeling today. You can drag a horse to the trough but you can't make em drink :frusty:

If you're still looking local try pep boys. Since they've added the speed shop they've had a lot more stuff in stock

If you're gonna end up ordering a full set you may want think about going with a u-bolt flip

Nah just looking for a replacement MAYBE a spare. I'd like to flip but the kits out there don't work with the Wheeler's bumps I have to put on. I guess I could just get creative and fashion something to make it work but I'd rather not reengineer it yet.

I found out the place I got my Deaver springs sold me Deaver's in-house-bent U-bolts as well. I'm gonna do what I can to get down there and see if they can fashion me a few more plus hardware.

Dealer isn't too far from you. I try to keep a spare set of u-bolts for my truck. It seems like it's fairly common for the fine threads to go to shit

If you end up doing a u-bolt flip down the road you can use two pieces of barstock to sandwich your bump stop between the flip plate and the flat stock. When I did @fishfinder bamf towers he made some little plates to do that with his bump stops.

Good idea! Yeah I plan to keep at LEAST one extra and depending on cost I'll grab a full set, you never know right?!

I'm only avoiding a flip kit as I'd rather just plan and execute a spring under rather than figure out a flip kit, bumps solution, etc. etc. Seems like inventing the wheel twice.

I gotcha. I was just throwing out cause the last custom bent u-bolts I bought cost me $20 each, u-bolt kit was $65. But if you're gonna go sua soon than it's definetly not worth the extra cash

Against my better judgement I drove to Deaver in Santa Ana... Yeah they were closed.

I knew they weren't open when they didn't answer. But I went anyway.

My Wheelers bumps on the all pro flip kit. Pretty easy to do. If you buy it I can do the work for you. I did another members not too long ago.

Yep, the ones I bought don't have the 2 holes for the bolts to hold onto the top plate. :annoyed:

Mine didn't either. I drilled and tapped it myself. The predrilled plates don't work with the wheelers bumps
