A couple years ago I went to Las Vegas for the SCSN 7 " Street car supernationals" at LVMS . It was maybe 35deg that Saturday night at the track and everyone was bundled up trying to stay warm

This Drag Racing event attracts A lot of people including Canadians . What was funny is all the Canadians were in t shirts ,shorts and flip flops . I asked a friend of mine who's from Calgary AB and he said its -45 deg at home and this weather in Las Vegas is Sumner time for him

 

I wear the silk long johns. Put them on late fall and they don't come off until Spring. Consider them an upgrade over the red union suits with the trap door in the back that I used to wear

 

When I lived in Asheville NC one of my neighbors was a retired Canadian. He would come out every morning in his plaid PJ bottoms and T shirt even in the winter with snow on the ground to get the paper. In the winter he would just stand there on the porch steps and smile. Wondered at times if he wasn't senile. Now I know what he was smiling about!

 

Da red lj's wit da flap in da back is great when you go oout an use da two holer .

 

And done let it dry for 2 days since it is 58 in the shop deliver and move on.

 

Well the house is finally quiet. The youngest is on a plane back to Texas, the friends with the babies loaded up and went home, the youngest's gf is on her way back home and the wife is at work. The dogs are relaxed and snoozing and I'm feeling the urge to take a nap in the recliner. I love them all and really enjoyed the visits but it's good to get back to normal.

Somewhere in my picture collection is a pretty decent one holer LOL. Up on the North Shore of Lake Superior an a few other places they are alive and well. Likely the UP also.

Keep the toilet paper in a Maxwell house coffee can so the mice don't chew it up and poop alongside you. You learn to check the can before you sit down
