Def looks cool. Question is will it come in handy much? Been debating buying the back rack, looks awsome but than I can use my ladder racks. Still want it it

 

My 1 year truck anniversary is 1/03. So the truck got a wash, claybar, wax removal, and sealant applied as well as vacuumed out (an all day affair). Looks just as good as new but with 14,7xx miles.

 

Installed emblem partial blackout vinyls from @rrentrop (truly a nice product...highly recommended for those who haven't de-badged), and also some Tacoma window vinyl from a local artist...here in Tacoma. =) oh, and installed PIAA yellow fogs, but it's still daylight, so didn't take any pics.

Was thinking of doing this till I buy a new bumper. How does it look in person? And you happy with it

Looks great! I've been going back and fourth between low profile bed bars and a full on rack. Yours looks great

Thanks mate, I had the same back and forth. Glad I went with the middle height rack in the end, good combination of bed space, attachment points, and without sticking too far up over cab.

Just personal preference. I spend a lot of time "interior" camping where the truck doesn't go. But am definitely going to make use of it for now.

 

Which bit, the tent or the rack?

The rack is great, whether it's got a tent on it or not, just very functional without giving up too much bedspace.

I'm thinking about getting one in the spring but there's way tooooo many choices

 

I finally shimed my leaf springs to correct a vibration I was having at 25 mph. Pretty easy repair, imo. So far, no vibrations.

I also attempted to install my Archive Garage rear shackle flip kit. That project stopped quickly when I was struggling to drill three additional holes on each bracket; either the drill itself or drill bit were not up to the task. One bracket is done and started on the second bracket. I'm going to take the second one to work and see if a co-worker has anything better to drill these holes in a quicker fashion. If this happens, I'll reattempt to install the kit this coming weekend.
