curious as to what I should be looking at for a minimal lift that at worst doesn't harm my current ride experience. Would be a plus if the ride improved. 99% of my driving is highway driving (thus the reason I opted for the 4x2 this go round).

No budget in mind but also don't want to overpay if I'm not going to notice the difference with what I'm looking for.

Going to stick to stock size tires so I don't affect my mpg and odometer readout once all is said and done but will likely go for a more aggressive look.

Please. Posing is in bad taste. Regardless of all the cool kids wanting to do it.

But to meet your goal, if you install a tire that is 2" larger in diameter, you get a 1" lift. And the cool factor of more tire.

I'm not kidding. Play with the tire calculator. You could find something that works with very little impact on odo/speedo and nothing on your suspension.

Stock tires? 1-1.5" Don't bother, seriously.

If you must do something, find a set of take-off TRD Pro front springs/shocks or order a set new, which will basically give you the Pro look.

730 posts and 8 year member, haha. I like weeding through the hate and getting some valuable input from members that do chime in with opinions. This site isn't very welcoming at times to us mall crawlers, but I am old enough to not allow the hate to sway me from liking what I like.

Adjustable bilsteins and an aal w/ 5100's in the back. Lifted trucks look weird to me without bigger tires though.

I did a 2" leveling kit in front with 265/70/16 tires. It's been a perfect fit for mild off roading in New England, hunting Wyoming and lots of comfortable highway miles in between. Getting 21mpg in summer. The kit installed should be about $400

Good on you OP for starting a thread for wanting to know something that will improve your truck in your opinion. Good on you too everyone who's posting useful information. I would like to see some 33's with that suspension lift though. And who knows if you do it that way you might want to go track down an offroad trail or two. :mudding:

When I put one of the lo-pro winch bumpers on the front of mine I will probably do this same thing in the front to level the truck back out.
