What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Pretty much looks, to be honest. In the snow and rain you don't get light bouncing back with the yellow. I personally am not a fan of HID's. I hate them! And hate rigs that they don't belong on. On NEW rigs they look fine. But old busted ass ride... I don't get it. Just me tho.

 

I don't get it either. Personally if my ride was that old, I wouldn't be spending money on it. I would just be buying my time until I purchased a new one. Yeah. I'm a person that doesn't like the yellow on any lighting. I would rather the cool white look verses the soft white look.

Yellow is for snow and dense fog. Like serious snow, and actual dense fog, not the two snowflakes in the sky or 6 mile visibility fog that everyone around me thinks is actual fog light weather. In the whiteout snow storms and dense fog advisory days (schools delayed or cancelled days), all the hi beam/low beam or light bars in the world actually make it worse, and bounce more light back at the driver, and also blind everyone else. A cheap set of yellow fogs and no headlights, or at least no hi beams make the biggest difference.

lol no way, plenty of quick washes so far. This was the first time it was decontaminated and sealed with a random orbital.

I'm running an OME Dakar leaf pack. I installed the center support bearing spacer at the time of the leaf pack install and had a vibration that I never got around to resolving.

I was gonna give the piaas a try. But they are a tad more then I wanted to spend on some yellows. Plus I haven't had good luck with piaas lasting long. 2 sets in my FJ and one set in my 2010 taco. All three sets lasted less then a year.
