Has anyone seen the new AR-15 that Savage is releasing in early 2017? It's called the MSR and it has a left side non reciprocating charging handle.

I just disassembled and cleaned it thoroughly, it was really really gummed up. Could that have caused the issue? I cleaned it less than 300 rounds ago but it was already really bad inside, freedom munitions reloads must run dirty?

    Thank you!

I honestly have no idea, it doesn't have any markings that I noticed. I can take it apart again tomorrow and see.

I bought this rifle used, its been passed around a few times that I know of.

I'm sure it won't be cheap but it's about time a major manufacturer offered a setup like that

I had one. Great weapon. I could throw the shittiest Russian bulk ammo through it and never a failure.

Its nice to see them coming to the market and not doing what every other company has done (ruger, springfield, remmington, ect) and just slap together an AR-15 and call it new.

If they keep true to their company and other rifles it should be quite affordable too. My guess is 800-1k range but im probably way off :)

So i just got home from Sportsmans with my new shotgun, and as i was leaving they had a cool "vice" like set up for cleaning/building ARs it looked like.

Anyone have a set up? Kinda thinking of ordering one for building the next one. Something that I could do AR and a rifle on.

I love my vortex spitfire 3x. It's not exactly a red dot, they call it a prism scope. It has an etched reticle that is always visible even when the batteries are dead but you can illuminate the reticle red or green with various intensities. I have no experience with their magnifiers.

Take out the trigger and double check/inspect your pins and springs.
Does it happen when you dry fire as well?

He wants to know if the hammer is not held by the disconnector when doing the same manipulation minus the recoil of firing.

Just a guess off of that picture, but the hammer looks like ass. Probably a worn hammer hook.

I'd get a new trigger pack all together if the other parts are of the same quality.
