Ways to piss off your pregnant wife:

    - come home with beer and forget the ice cream she asked for...
    - when she's hypocritcial and I tell her "If you wanna have your cake and eat it too, you're gonna need to get some frosting on your face" :bananadead:

I already went back to the store for ice cream. But the second one landed me on the couch tonight

I remember a lot of good times in the Flippac, but here's what led to the sale:

1.) Yosemite 2012. Passed through the valley on the way back from an eastern Sierra trip. It was a Saturday and started raining. Many people left = plenty of open campsites and few people. On the weekend. In the valley. In early September. Unheard of. Forecast for Sunday was blue skies. Hung out in the Flippac (no rainfly, but it doesn't have an open screened roof like most tents) and the mattress got soaked. Had to pack up and head home with the rest.

2.) Moab 2014. Camped across from the slickrock trail. Rode it on my MTB and made it back to camp 10 minutes before it started dumping. Rained all night and the interior stayed dry (with the rainfly). Packed up in the morning while it was raining(kept the rainfly separate), spent the day at Arches, and went through SLC on the way to Park City, where I planned to camp. Opened up the camper to check before heading up the mountain. Seam- sealed and treated rainfly leaked, got on the tent, and that soaked the mattress. Had to spend the night at a SLC KOA drying everything out. Good thing I could hang the wet rainfly and sleeping bag on the chainlink fence bordering my "campsite"....

3.) Kirkwood 2016. Camped in the snow. Re-treated the rainfly beforehand. The wet snow sitting on the tent leaked through. Had to cancel the 2nd night, and day of riding, on a Tuesday after another snowstorm. Last straw. Bought the 4wc the next night.

I don't just change my mind with these campers. Something significant fucks up my plans and, at this point, I don't have time to wait for someone to offer something better. It's the reason Iggy and I are taking this route. The 4wc was rainproof and great for just me, but not big enough for the family. The new one will combine the best of both worlds.

TL; DR: Goldilocks popup camper situation.

I think someone in here used those and they died on first use or something? I had those in my cart for a while until I read about them being crap.

I know @Mademan925 owns like every recovery option available. He mentioned he was going to make a comparison video a while back on his IG.

    Some really cool shit

I love the C-130. Had a couple missions in which that plane was used to get us in and out of tight jungle air strips.

Little this. Little that 4x4 Swap’d PreRunner
Spent the last week after xmas running Cat5e cable through the new house. Gotta say, I'm loving it. Free'd up all of my wifi bandwidth by having all of my devices, tvs xbox, and computers hardwired to a network with a server computer in the garage that's now become my mancave tacomaworld computer while i drink beer and work on the truck, cause everyone needs a computer in the garage..

Oh and I'm loving the free'd up wifi speeds now too... 165mbps download, I think my last house was 20's. lol
