Glad you weren't hurt. Now it's time for a plate bumper.

Can anyone tell me if my VIN# falls under the recall for needing TSB Rev 1 or if it already has it installed. 3TMCZ5AN3HM044691

Those Calais led fogs have super good reviews and an excellent price, I was surprised to see no one on TW has tried them. I guess that will be me. :)

Picking my truck up finally tomorrow. Hoping the gear job is all good and no whining this time. I am very nervous about this.

Yeah kinda rushed it, probably won't salvage the tape , will have to re-tape it if anything. I probably can live with it but I have a feeling my OCD will get the best of me. Oh well, appearantley I like learning the hard way

When I put one on the '15 Colorado I use to own I put it on by myself but I dry fitted it then pulled back about an inch of the red plastic at all the ends of the 3M tape. Then gently placed it on my hood without applying any pressure. Once I got it where I wanted it I started at each end pulling the red plastic and applying pressure. Just worked each side the equal and it turned out great. I knew I only had one chance at it so I took my time.

Good luck with whatever you decide on it.

This is what it looks like from underneath, and it looks like to me that the frame is damaged but I'm not a body expert.

Who's site? This was absolutely not a plug-n-play solution.

It is based on the VLEDS Triton W/A switchback with the 'custom' wiring pigtail, you need to drill/epoxy the tail lamp housings and cut into the factory harness.

Yes, one should really consider a steel bumper when this opportunity arises.

Thank you. I will make sure to take it in when I get back mid January. Anything else I should be aware of? I've heard on here that there is an Entune update as well. Other than that, anything else?

I think an ecu update goes along with the rev1 Trans update. Also, lower control arm howling noise tsb. They just install some plastic plugs in the casting holes.
