Figured I'd post this here since it'll get more views. Knobs came off my 2015 Entune W Nav unit. Replaced them with the bad ass Hondo Garage ones, so...

Cat how much difference in the radio knobs vs the stock ones?

Installed a new dash cam, went with a YI brand camera and also found out my friend makes these wire harnesses for powering the cameras.
Made the whole install take about 5 minutes and no ugly wires hanging down from the mirror or having to go all the way down the A-pillar to steal power.
The wires just plug into the mirror harness so its super easy to undo if ever needed.

Well what do you do when it's 80 degrees outside (in January)? Wash, wax and detail the Tacoma! She sure looks pretty now! Will do the same to the Porsche tomorrow if the weather holds then the wife's car on Wednesday.

Florida sure is nice this time of year!

I haven't taken that measurement since removing the 3rd leaf...it's visibly lower than before, but still has some rake with my Fox coilovers set somewhere between 2"-2.5" in front. I'll try and remember to get the measurement tomorrow.

To be honest with you, none besides the looks part of it. The stock ones have a bit of silver on them, and the new ones are all black, which go perfectly with my blacked out interior pcs.

Not gunna lie, it's not a good ride lol. But it's also just spacers in the front, no extended coilovers of anything. Those come later.

I did th summo springs and can't say I'm a fan of them unless I'm hauling something in the bed or a trailer. rides like a cloud with weight but a brick when there ain't anything back there. Considered cutting a layer or two off but not sure how it would ride. Or replace with airbags

Shoot: I was running AC today! I'll take the heat over the snow and cold any day. At least I can always get outside without 5 layers of clothing and my cars don't rot out from under me from the road salt! I did my penance up north, I'm now a bonafide southern boy and don't ever see moving north of the Mason-Dixon line.

BTW: It's supposed to be mid 70's tomorrow so the Porsche is next in the queue. It's due for a clay bar detail so it'll be an all-day job.

Well folks, operation RetroFit is a go. Just heated everything up and separated today. Gunna start to paint and dismount the bowl tomorrow, not in that order. Tinting the markers and turn signal lens slightly. Droped the headlight lens off at my tint place to throw the clear UV protection tint on it. Extend the life of these things. Not necessary but with what happened to my other lights, $60 is a good investment I think.
I have DS2 projectors from morimoto to go in and Gatling gun shrouds. Can't wait, more pictures coming

Waxing and detailing him this week

Katzkins get installed tomorrow and couldn't be happier.

Taco is getting a lot of love this week.

    image.jpg

If everything goes well, I might consider building lights

Will the UV protectant film do alright when you go to bake it all back together?

I think depending on the temperature of what your baking it all, if it is fairly high then it will cause the protectant to melt and possibly become permanent to the fixture, if it fairly low, and not a super long time, it should be ok. Because it certain areas im sure it gets over 100 degrees for several hours and the film is designed to withstand that.
