At the Stroke of Midnight, this Man Leapt Aboard a Police Car

A man in Wisconsin decided to quite literally jump into 2017 by right at midnight Sunday morning, and it was all captured on dashcam video.

A Menasha Police Department patrol car was parked when the Kimberly, Wisconsin man—who police say was under the influence—jumped on the hood and damaged the car's windshield. Thankfully for all, video of the entire incident was uploaded to the department's Facebook page. Two police officers were injured in the course of detaining the suspect. One of the officers was brought to a hospital and released. The suspect was also taken to the hospital, then sent to the Winnebago County Jail, local news station ABC 2 WBAY reported. The suspect's name has not been disclosed.

While we here at The Drive are all for celebrating our favorite holidays in our own ways, this guy undoubtedly took that a bit far. For real, how drunk do you have to be to lunge across a police car?

Yah think he was under the influence ??????LOL
I do not want to know how drunk you would have to be but I would probably have passed out long before attempting that crap lol

x2 ... And close as I ever cared to get.

:hattip: to you Navy folk when it comes to close quarters living. The idea of ship board life is what helped me make my final decision between Navy and Air Force. I might have gone Coast Guard if anyone had pushed me that way; but they weren't represented at the recruitment center I used. :notsure:

I've always felt that was the hardest shift schedule wise. My friend just moved from our midshift to the swingshift (second shift). He wants me to request to move to his swing shift, but I'm really resisting making the change. I worked that shift often on active duty and I NEVER liked it. I've pretty much decided to stay where I am.

Hope you manage a decent nap before work. :fingerscrossed:
