RUN RUN away. it's a day killer not enough time before you work no time after work to do anything. I have to plan everything. get parts one day so I have everything on hand so I can work the next day. I have to be good at keeping a drop dead stop time.

    Exactly how I always felt!

Seriously man, THANK YOU SO MUCH ... this totally confirms my gut feeling about it. I was on the fence because he's not just any friend, he's my fishing and hunting partner. I knew deep down I didn't want to move. We still have same days off, so schedule still works for all the off duty stuff..

Thanks again. Mid shift it will remain. Days are out because I no longer have patience for the politics/attitudes ... as if I ever did.

[IMG]these are good racks to have. 3 high a lot of room between them. we called the "big dollar racks". if you had one of these you could "sell" it when you transferred, got out .

I remember on time we took some Air Force guys for a boat ride once for a few weeks. the look on there faces when they saw the racks was priceless. of course we gave them the best racks we had.

Didn't get below freezing here, but cold, raw ,crappy NE off the water cold.
I used to get more cold working in NE wind at 35 deg.than NW wind at 10 deg. Goes right through you.

Damp cold is the absolute worst. I've told people often how the coldest I've ever been was while stationed in England; that damp cold in the low 30°s would chill me to the bone. Felt like couldn't get warm for weeks sometime. :bananadead:

I think Cold Iron Mike said it the other day, "nothing good comes from rain this time of year." :amen:
