Who's got what brand of ditch light bracket and which brand fits best? What's your experience. Looking to throw some on my taco.

I've got the brackets from Cali raised. They are similar in design to rago and CBI... like identical...

Good solid bracket, great price, and good fit. Defiantly would buy a second time if I had to.

Ok good stuff. I assume you used cali raised pods as well? How you like them...condensation problems?

No didn't use the pods. Just brackets.

I got The GG lighting Green G3 pods. They are pretty bitchen... no condensation and are bright as hell eventhough they are green.

I just have them as green to put some character on the front end so friends know its me when were jumping from cabin to cabin out in Johnson valley.

It's a bad pic, but as you can tell... pretty unique.

That's some serious lighting. I looked up those gg g3's and I like! Thanks for the tip. I especially like the lifetime warranty

relentless fab, very solid brackets. Haven't really seen other ones to compare in person to tell but the relentless brackets work great.
Im getting a 40" bar to put in my new prinsu rack and i'm thinking of making the pods on the ditch amber...

    This ^^
I like them because they put the light closer to the side of the window. More out of the line of sight than other brands

Doesn't have interference with windshield when you pop the hood?

This too! I've seen a lot of other brackets on other trucks that have the pods mounted too much in sight while driving.

No interference at all. Hood opens normally.

The bracket it not mounted to the hood, so it doesn't move with the hood. It mounts to the cowling, hood mount on the firewall and inner fender siding.

Does require minor trimming of the cowling but noting crazy.

Nope. Like said above, stays stationary. Not sure about all the light options, but my @Iggy. lights dont interfere with the hood opening at all. Very happy with them!

    I went with cbi.
I wanted out of my field of view and mounted to truck, not hood.
No issue with opening..I run 3x2pods.

    ^^^

Those cbi mounts actually do look a couple inches further out to the side than the relentless brackets. I do like that aspect. So what adzactly needs to get trimmed and how does it show? What brand pods are those?

The relentless bracket catches to the hood mounts and pretty much go straight back from there, they are in the fov slightly but I don't really notice them anymore. you don't have to cut anything with the relentless.

It's just the very corner of the cowl that needs to be trimmed. If you cut small, the brackets fill in that space.
Also wiring is nice because you don't need extra wire hanging to open hood. Like with the ones tha attach to hood.

cheapO-$20 auxbeam i left them on through winter so far...seem to be fine.
And at $20 I'll replace them every few yrs if need be.

@ragofabrication ...yea I had some issues with there quality control.
    Here's the 52" windsheild bracket
My cbi ditch light brackets did NOT have any flaws.

For the money we spend on this shit...they should give us good quality fkn brackets.

And yes. I let rago know about this (sent pictures and all) back before Christmas.
They just ignore that part of my conversation:burp:
It's all good there's alot of companies out there. *Cough cbi, caliraised
