@DistortedAxis Mostly daily driver, some light towing occasionally, and a bit of offroading but mostly just torn up dirt roads to get to trailheads...

@Pigpen Any experience with their lightweight flywheel? does it make a noticeable accel difference? bad for towing?

I'm just in the research stage myself. The stage 2 is the direction I'm leaning. I think @Torspd is running the stage 3. Not sure about the flywheel.

My clutch is on borrowed time - and the new supercharger isn't helping. I'm planning on the URD Stage 2 with a heavy flywheel for towing.

URD offers a heavier flywheel, for the offroading and towing crowds. To help keep the momentum going.

Always remember to keep different brands' stages independant. They might have the same "Stage" number, but be of different materials, torque capacities, and specs.

URD Stage 2 is a pretty robust clutch. Definitely handle the TRD s/c and regular off roading abuses. Always remember to verify a clutch's torque capacity, where that capacity is rated (engine or wheel), and give yourself a little percentage overhead.

I am using a custom McLeod twin disk. 1000 hp rated. ;)

My OEM clutch will be on it's way out soon just from the supercharger so I bought the URD Stage 2 with TOB sleeve fix. From what I have read from other members, it behaves most like a stock clutch with regards to feel and pedal pressure. I don't race or beat the snot out of my truck, I just want a clutch that will last and URD Stage 2 seemed to fit that bill.

    Did you got it installed?

I'd rather take the heavy flywheel, but maybe I'll keep the OEM, it's quite good compromise.

It’s installed and working well. The short shifter is a great upgrade. Clutch has a much heavier pedal feel and engages fairly late, in a good way. I can’t really tell a difference with the lightweight flywheel...all is good, I recommend the clutch.

Not my clutch then. I have tried to choose between this and Centerforce Dual Friction. So, it's Centerforce then.

My URD Stage 2 clutch lasted three years with mostly heavy traffic commuting to and from work, some hard acceleration racing, and the occasional dirt road driving.

Any better Stage 2 strength clutches on the market now?
