    Starting working on valve cover gaskets yesterday. Wondering about this oil in the intake:


    Appears to be coming from the tube that connects the drivers side valve cover to the intake just before the throttle body.

    FWIW, up to 268k on my truck, doubt the intake or throttle body have ever been cleaned. I use no noticeable amount of oil in between changes.
