I'm in Northern VA (Fort Belvoir) looking for a good place for lift/wheels/tires etc.. Any recommendations?

No.no.no.....don't you know you put the big tires on first, see where it rubs, then cut out the offending metal.....

For purchasing, there are several vendors here that have good deals on all that stuff. Check out the vendors section.
I know lots on here like @HeadStrong Off-Road to hook them up with nice suspensions, and there have been lots of group buys in the past that may save you some coin if you are willing to wait for a good deal.
For tires, Discount Tire Direct has good prices. They have an ebay store and occasionally run specials of $100 off a $400 purchase. So an $800 set of tires can be split into two orders, and you just got those tires for $600.
For installs, there are lots of folks that like to help out installing, mod day style. It's fun, fairly easy, and it's always good to know how your truck operates by doing it yourself. If that's not your thing, @DOUBLLD has done lifts and other stuff for local guys on here. He did my supercharger install for me at a very reasonable price and it was great service.

Thanks TacoCat. I'm not familiar with the shops in this area and wasn't sure if there were some I should check out or some to definitely avoid. Most of the mods I have planned I'll do myself, with the exception of the anything involving the suspension. I don't have the space, facilities, or equipment in base housing lol :)

I recommend coming out to the next meet/wheel trip and we can all get acquainted. For the most part, the members can help out with a lot of stuff here, even with suspension...any idea long term what you might be thinking suspension wise?

Winter I have a garage if needed. A double cab is a tight fit with the garage door closed especially when trying to use the jack though. It is attached, but unheated.

I'm still on the fence looking at all the awesome Tacos on the forums. Primarily looking for a more aggressive stance/look than the stock one. One of my favorites had Installed ICON Stage 3
17 X 8 Wheels with 285-70-17 tires. With all the various lifting options and pro/cons with them, I'm still undecided. But tax season is coming! lol

If you have 16" wheels, I am selling my tires. They have about 10k miles. 255/85/16 Maxxis Bighorn MT762. 5 tires, for $550.

King/Fox/Icon coilovers are all top tier up front. For upper control arms, some will say uniballs, some will say ball joint. I have the light racing uppers and no problems after probably 5 years. For rear leafs, go dakars or if you need the capacity, the all pro expos are supposed to be ultra heavy duty. I only have an add a leaf and the leaf pack has a small arch, and with any little weight its almost flat.

I def recommend riding with someone who has icons if you go that route...they can be rather stiff on the road.

Here's to a NICE refund, if you want Icon III!
