LT isn't too hard to install. Just getting spindle gussets and limit straps welded up is if you can't weld and the damn CV axles. Took 3 days taking our time including dropping off spindles and CV axles

 

We did... but we didn't have to, the red hair gave you away long before

Headed out to start my truck. I need a drive. The forest service roads have a couple feet of snow on them, so I have some scouting to do.

 

Yea Im not worried about that stuff so much either. Already got my spindles gusseted, just need the parts at this point and my buddys garage mainly to be available!

It all depends on whether you build from a donor VW floor pan and motor or you go apeshit and get a tube chassis and Subaru boxer engine.

Around $35K if you get a decent donor drivetrain and have the skills to do everything else. No idea what insurance would even be like on a 300 hp 1000 pound car...
