The TSB's are NOT a recall. According to my dealer they cannot even be mentioned on the customer writeup for service. The mechanic must determine if it is appropriate. A verbal mention of the TSB is all that is needed from the vehicle owner to most likely initiate the procedure.

That begs the question then, where can one look up a list of TSB's their particular truck?

Out of curiosity: I have a 2016 tacoma SR 4x4 2.7L and the engine is a bit frustrating to drive, I was curious about the cost of trading my truck in for the identical truck but with a 3.5L engine. My truck has about 6,500 miles on it as of now. thank you!:frusty:

well, you'll take a hit for sure, but the Tacoma is the highest reselling vehicle so it won't be as bad as it could be with another vehicle.

Did some snow mashing! Came up Bowden Ranch/Coxey and Connected with the 3N16 (Holcomb Valley) in Big Bear. Recovered 2 vehicles while I was up there. :) 1. F150 2WD with a broken chain. 2. AAA Flatbed Tow Truck with a broken chain. Truck really impressed me, and I will only run BFG All-Terrains from this point forward, holy grip!

Awesome looking dogs and truck! Quicksand was my 1st choice when I bought mine but didn't feel like waiting and they had a good deal on my 2016 silver OR.

The install literally took about 15 minutes each side. There are six bolts that line up with the factory running board mounting locations. Very sturdy, nice welds and finish. They came wrapped and packaged in a big ass box. It honestly took longer to remove the packaging then to install them. If I was forced to complain about something it would be that the diamond plate at the stop location doesn't provide any traction with snow on your boots but I wasn't really expecting it to.
