I won an ebay auction for a pair of used Eagle Eyes Headlights, $50.00+$15.30 shipping... all tabs intact.
Also ordered my Fumoto valve (F-103N)
Now I'm looking at AALs and 5125s

 

Finally figured out where to install my hella bright little lightbars on my bed rack. These lights light up the whole bed for finding items perfectly. They look good and are out of the way when the bed is loaded. I wired them so i can remove the bed rack.

Then i wired in my backup light pods they are worth every penny i couldn't believe how much of a difference in my ability to back out and up at night. I decided to wire them to a switch rather then tieing into the factory harness

 

FINALLY got around to spooling on my winch rope. Overhead DVD player installed with dome lights for the kid on trips. Got my heated seat kit ordered and scheduling an alignment for this week and probably some new shoes going on at alignment.

 

Got my bed outlet system / power panel installed, with the help of the electrical master known as @HeliMedic. a great complement to the off-grid engineering dual battery system!

 

Overhead DVD player you say?? Interesting having little ones myself. Got pics? Curious to see how it looks. How difficult was it to install?

 

Pulled the retros.....Couldn't take the shaking and twitching on bumps from the projector not being solid enough or the reflector bowl not being solid - one or the other. Put the good ole BHLM Phillips Xtremevision halogens back in for the time being and also got bumper fogs relit from ballast issue and disconnected HID hellas to find bad ground or whatever is causing relay to melt. Loves me some wiring madness. Light not same color from halogens as D2S morimoto setup but was impressed with similar lighting from lows and hi beam on 55w halogen better than 35w HID cutoff shield repositioning. The HID bumper fogs working again made things even better........now I'm pondering scavenging the projectors and morimoto setup and retro fitting them into spare headlights for my car and just staying with halogens on the truck. Either way, baking up some headlights to repair or transfer is in near future.................also pulled the oem bug guard to see if hood will settle down on frwy and quit acting like it's gonna fly away...more mpg too? maybe extra .5 FTW.......and it looks better without it. No hood damage from clips when you use strips of bicycle inner tube between them and the hood.


Oh yeah, washed the bitch for first time since who knows. Was 76 outside so WTF.......been so long looks like I repainted it, lol.

 

There was a thread on here about putting aftermarket halogen bulbs in the back-up lights, not 886, I did the mod but now I can't seem to find it.

 

No side pic yet, but I just took a measurement:

Driver's side rear - 23.5"
Passenger's side rear - 23.75"

 

Interested as well because we do allot of highway miles with the boy in the backseat.

Installed reverse lights and bed lights!

 

I bought and received my Hi-Lift... though now I question myself on why I would need it and if i will ever use it... everyone has one so I had to have it kinda thing I guess

 

Instead of a lca bushing kit I replaced both lca's, cam bolts, inner and outer tie rods. Mevotech, Moog, Moog and Moog respectively.

 

I've used it to lift tilting scaffold, rip out fence posts, push full pallets....trust me you'll find something.

 

Maybe now I can get my fucking alignment done properly
