I think I posted earlier, but I paid $37,400 on $40,500 MSRP. That seems to be the range where you can know you are not getting ripped. Granted mine is a DCLB, so they seem to fetch a bit higher price than the DCSB.

Thanks I've been trying to negotiate price, doesnt seems like they are budging here in San Diego.

Did get a quote from dealer in Oakland at around 36700 before TTL. They would have to build truck. Its also a 7 hour drive. I just wonder if its legit.

So $43k OTD? I don't have mine yet so I'm just watching prices everywhere, but I'd say you should be very happy with that!

Was 43k your OTD price after taxes and everything? That's really good if that's the case. Just got my cement TRD Pro for 48.9k OTD after taxes and extended warranty in Texas.

Good to see we're getting much better numbers. It wasn't that long ago that dealers, especially in CA, were not budging a penny and some were adding $300 - $1,000 markup on the TRD Sport and above trim levels.

I'm certainly jealous, but good for you man. Mine was something like $40,100 OTD with TRD 4x2.

You did great. From what I've seen looking at all the prices across the country for AT Pros, the asking prices in FL seem to be lower than other places like TX, CA, AZ.

Is that the third party one or the one from Toyota. They had a third party warranty also for $3k. I am going back to the dealership tomorrow to pick up some accessories and probably tell the dude I want to return the warranty.
So the Service Contract consist of two things:
Toyota Extra Care Vehicle Service Agreement - All maintenance is taken care of up to 5 years or 75K miles - $1,760
Bumper to bumper warranty other than normal wear and tear covered till 8 years or 125k miles - $2,375
If you do the math of what dealers charge for oil change/filters/other stuff it will be worth the maintenance care. The oil changes/tire rotation alone will cost you around $1200 alone in $75k miles. I got quoted $260 for oil/tire/filters for my last maintenance on the Honda. Of course, I decline on the filters because they are super easy to do yourself. One time I paid $975 just in maintenance for the Ridgeline.
Toyota sells warranties from Toyota and warranties from third parties also. The third party warranty does sell for $3K and you try and get it for less. I got the Toyota one for less than $3k. The past two years alone I spent over $3000 on repairs for my Ridgeline. The major ones were AC line that cost $600, $1600 to try to fix the VTM-4 when all it was a faulty O2 sensor that was making the VTM-4 light to come on(can't put the car in VTM-4), $1200 for replacing the seal on an oil pump... There is a lot of new stuff on this truck with the engine, all the 4x4 gadgets, electrontics that I don't know it will be 100% by the time it reaches 125k miles...

Damn. Doesn't seem like they have mechanical breakdown insurance. Either way, return the warranty and shop a bit. You have I think 30 days to get it.

I will probably just shop a bit and see what i can get from other places. But... What other places offer a warranty as good as the one I got from toyota?
