Yes these are the CVJ axles. From what I can tell these are the next best thing down from manufacturer axles at a fraction of the price. 90% sure the boots are from Off Road Solutions. I like the quality and have nothing bad to say about the axles or the companies service. I do however have a bone to pick with UPS. As I've been unpacking these and looking them over I found the second boot was torn up from shipping. I included a picture.

I contacted CVJ and will have to wait until they reopen tomorrow. Quality is great tho, I have every bit of confidence these will work as expected and likely wear better than the original axles on the truck. The colors aren't ideal. But for the quality and feel of these I was happy until I found the damages. (Some dents on the dust shield as well)

I've had some rotten luck lately between work and the parts coming in for the truck. I also got a speeding ticket yesterday... first one in years.. going 35 in a 25.. :frusty:

Playing around with these axles I don't think these red boots are as DURABLE as the manufactures. However I do think that they are more PLYABLE. These suckers seem to hold themselves much better but just can't withstand a more direct form of contact.

Seeing as how they are the inner boots, they are obviously better shielded and shouldn't be as exposed to debris or hazards from off roading.. HOWEVER, if you mow down a ton of brush, forge water, or have no skid plates I might stay away from these boots..

Again, I haven't gotten to experience these boots yet. But these are my first impressions of them...

I gotcha! Mind me asking how much they were for the set, everything included?

Sorry to hear about UPS...I'm surprised they didn't take care of that for you actually.

Well I wasn't home when they dropped them off... and they shipped as a pair. The boxes aren't really that chewed up. Just a bit squished.

Tried installing the CVJ axles. Turns out the outer boots made contact with the lower end of my coilovers. Slid the boot back a bit farther to make it work. Fingers crossed it won't tear in the next few weeks. Interestingly enough the new LCAs even pushed the shock back farther. I couldn't imagine how this would have looked with the OEM arms. Here's a picture of the before. I'll get an after on here once I get my limit straps installed.

Got everything installed. Super happy with with the ECGS, CVJ axles and LCAs. All front end vibrations are now gone. Turns out my hubs had been causing some of the vibes in addition to the needle bearing.

The dirt king lcas are great. Very solid and pretty. Ride is definitely more responsive to the road and feels great.

Also got the prinsu on. Took some more fine tuning once the sun came out but adjustments are super easy once on the truck.

Oh and my drain and fill of the atf. Has resulted in silky smooth shifting. Well worth the time and effort on that one. First one at 75k miles.

Hey bud. Just called king. They told me 5 turns equals 1 inch of lift. How many you figure?

Sorry, I'm lost. What are you trying to do? Raise, lower? Did you just swap out your shocks?

Sorry I am going up. I just spoke to king and they said 5 full turns = 1 inch lift. However turning them on the truck 4 full turns only yielded about .5 inches the other day. so when you were raising the front end how many turns in your estimation would = 1 inch?

Depends on how much weight your front end has and the spring rating on your coilovers.. It's subject to change with the different variables.

Umm, I know that I over shot mine originally. As it's easier to dial down than crank up while they're on the truck. And I had ended up removing the shocks because I couldn't tighten the shocks any more without starting to spin the inner sleeve. Hence the over shooting.

I am still dialing them down as things settle. Debating removing my upper overload in the leafs. And lowering the front one more turn to lessen the angles on my cv's and uca's.

So how many threads are showing on our shock body? I am showing 10 now which is roughly 10 full turns. I think I am going in for another 5 as king is saying 5 turns equals an inch but I am trying to lower my exposure on over or under shooting like you said and just get it right because I do not have access to a spring compressor. So I have to be as accurate as possible. I am running the only brute force aluminum bumper in the US I think and I am adding Mobtown like you for the ifs and tranny only... (not sure if you went for the diff also)
