Hey all, just found this thread and thought I would pop in and introduce myself. I am John, I live up in Eagle. I see a ton of Tacomas running around town and I figured some of those people must be on TW somewhere. About to install a set of wheeler's 8 Leaf progressives leaves and superbumps on the back of the taco once I can sweep enough melted snow out of the garage and get it warm enough to make it habitable. Gratuitous truck pick below.

 

Hope you all have had a happy holiday season. Mine was good until I had a run-in with a snowbank (more like ice wall) and now am in need of parts. The accident bent the passengers side lower control arm, knuckle/spindle, TC upper control arm and Icon coilover. Long shot, but anyone have a stock spindle or lower control arm laying around? (2009 4x4 DCSB)

 

yeah, didn't seem like that much of an impact at the time, the passenger side tire and assembly hit it just perfectly to cause substantial damage.

 

I've been putting my truck in 2nd to get out of the neighborhood, this will be interesting.

I love my tires, I have no complaints. I haven't gotten stuck or died yet and I'm still a newbie so I feel like I'm doing good.

I've only been here since Fall 2014 but yes the most snow I've seen the last 2 years was maybe 3-5" all year.
And it's still early.

 

I still mark still here? He know some trails.

 

I need some tires and weight in the back I slipping all over the place.

 

I'm not worried about snow. I mean have you seen my tire bill .

 

This is my current setup. Idk how much the weight helps though.

 

Do you run 0 psi when you wheel in the snow?
