tail gate dents

i noticed little dents in the tailgate...(this thread is worthless without pics) before u guys reply with that animation check this...its the kind of dent u can see only from a side and with the glare but not when u look straight at it...could it be the tailgate bends or dents when i put weight on it?

u got the same problem...that sucks im kind of pissed cuz every time i talk to my turkc i see it and i feel like my trucks all banged up...so what could have made the dings

 

not sure how they got there, but a paintless dent removal place can take care of those for ya!

i think i got mine cuz i tapped a trash can when backing up once

 

tapped a trash can? is the surface really soft or what on the tail gate

 

the reason why our trucks are so great and light is cuz our shit is made out of plastic

 

our trucks are made out of the same things as the smart car

 

I have the same dent. I bet if you were to poll all the members I bet at least 50% have a small dent in their tailgate!

 

I got 2 dents on mine, wtf???? I dont know how I got mine either!

 

Mine were created by a drunk driving illegal alien. Actually, they're fixed but get used to it because the metal on all vehicles is getting thinner and thinner in an attempt to save weight. That's the price you pay for CAFE standards.

i dont understand why you would have to mention the illegal alien part...i dont see how it would differ if an american drunk had done it

 

im glad u gotta look from a side to see them but at the same time im crushed...its like...someone took advantage of my truck..my baby...haha jk...it is a bummer though

 

Because a lot of us are sick and tired of illegals in our country flaunting our laws. Here illegally, driving drunk, no license to drive, no insurance and no assets to attach if you can catch them.

So we pay more in insurance and they get off Scott free. Just like the illegal that totaled my Mazda pick-up back in 1996. He was drunk, ran a red light and took off running. I caught and held his 2 friends that were also drunk. The cops did nothing to them or about finding the driver.

If he had been a citizen or here legally and not a transient I would have had a chance to recover some of the damage in civil court.

That's what makes the difference.
