What are you guys using as aftermarket solenoids?

I have a solenoid that screwed up after getting water and mud into it.

The winch works well, I have confirmed with a control box I used from a buddy that has the same winch as I do.

All the aftermarket solenoids I have come across don't have anything for wiring diagrams, nor I have a way to know how to wire the winch remote to the solenoid and the wiring to between the solenoid and winch.

    Advice?

    What did you do?

I can wire, solder, crimp, etc.

I just need good wiring diagram I can understand for the remote control jack and the solenoid.

If you have a Meter it will tell you every thing you need to know .

If you know how to use it

Solenoids Relays are all pretty much the same every one I ever saw tells just what every thing does

I picked up a solenoid. I have NO idea how to wire it.

I would like to setup in cab winch controls.

No wiring diagram included in package.

Kinda hard to do this from 1000 plus miles away .

Just what solenoid did you buy??

What does it need to do ??

I would hope the coils are 12VDC rated for intermittent or continuous duty ??

How many Amps is it rated for ?

I would hate to see you burn up your winch or truck maybe the garage

I can`t figure how one would even attempt to move the winch controls in the cab without being able to use a Multi Meter

    Best of luck

plus, I don't have much room to mount the box.

So I'm mounting the solenoid by itself.

and running wiring into cab switches.

Looks like pretty much all solenoids are the same. Using this it shouldn't be too hard to do.
