Thank you for the reply, but I just don't see it? Is it firmware update I had to do or an app!? I did download entune suite.

It won't even let me read the message!!!

My messages do not show on the entune even though the box is checked. I use the long hold on answer and ask to "check my messages"

Messages will not display but only read out when driving. If you are stopped, then it will display. However, if the read button is completely greyed out, ensure you have all of your settings on your phone to allow notifications. Failing this, delete the phone out of entune and repair. There has been a known glitch if you are running the 3 pane system with quick contacts in that it screws up randomly. The simple solution is to delete and re-pair. Toyota disabled the reading the text on the screen while driving due to past experiences.

Found a new one yesterday. If you hit the pause button on the top right of the stereo while on satellite, it mutes audio.

Anyone experience a weird jumping feeling when coming to a stop? This happens occasionally for me. Not sure if its the gears downshifting or what. I have an automatic transmission. Only about 500 miles on the truck so far. Is this due to more abrupt stops? I'm usually pretty careful when coming to stops. Not sure if anyone else has noticed this.

Will the ridges on the doorhandle work for locking and unlocking when you are wearing gloves? Wouldn't lock this morning for me.

They don't work well with gloves.

I wear a thin wind stopper fabric glove and they work fine for me.

(PS, there's ridges under the handle too)

Thin gloves yes, I believe he is talking about thicker ones, my gloves that I use for riding in the summer work fine but the thicker ones I use for winter month motorcycle riding don't work well at all. I think it's based on heat, as I have went over it with a sponge in the past with my key fob still in my pocket and nothing happened. I'd have to do some tests.

I doubt it because I'm in Oklahoma and mine doesn't show up on the entune display

That I know of no, but someone may have a way. It's based on the SD card.

Well, yeah, it's paused the feed. The system buffers HD & Satellite radio, letting you rewind/replay what you're listening to.... and pauses it if you make a phone call, resuming the time-delayed feed once you're done. It's pretty slick. Only annoyance is it drops the buffer when you switch stations.

I'm guessing it's capacitive, much like a phone screen. Needs an electrical charge, which thick gloves block.

Also, I've been trying to figure out the unlock bit for several days now (no gloves). I'd touch the button and the light would go on, but the truck would not unlock. I'd pull the handle a few times then eventually sometimes it would unlock. Think i figured out last night that you need to be touching the button while you pull the handle. I was just poking the button thinking that would unlock the truck.

Button locks, handle unlocks. Just grab the handle and pull to unlock and open... don't touch the button.

Button? What button? You mean the ridged bit?

Surprisingly, someone at Toyota sat down and wrote out how all this works.
