yeah i was there two weeks ago and it was brand new hoses all running properly and they are long enough to reach all the way to all four tires


but I'm gonna have to say I'm out guys i wish I could make it but with work and just some other things popping up I'm bona have to say next time



but if there are any OTPHJs that need handing out let me know so we can schedule an appointment

yeah i can't get my shit switched at work because we just got a new manager so its just a shit show (he's a cool dude its just crazy)
and then sat night lets just say that ill be partaking in some activities that same may be jealous of

 

So I called Hollister a little bit ago. All air lines are functioning just fine. Guess I don't need to worry about filling the co2 tank yet.

Still thinking of cruising down for at least a day trip Saturday, possibly camping Saturday night... although with the rain might just be sleeping in the back seats.

Anyone with a mostly stock truck still planning on going?

If I make it down... Ill be that guy hahaha - stock truck (with Duratracs) and no recovery gear... Should have a HAM (BaoFeng HT) for listening if Amazon pulls through; no license yet though; hopefully on the 21st. --- Looking for someone else to run the greens with

I think we'll all be sticking to blues and greens. With Duratracs I think you'll be fine hanging with us. I don't plan on hitting anything hard with my open diffs lol

 

Frame Twister and Mini Rubicon should be interesting.

 

I'm cutting this close pretty last minute, but I may still be driving down Friday and staying a while Saturday.. Not entirely sure

I'm still undecided about Friday or Saturday. Been a crazy week at work. My Work truck (Dodge car carrier/ tow truck) was hit by a drunk driver on HW 17 Tuesday night. He also hit the car I was helping out. It was an old pea green 70's Chevy pick up. Side swiped my truck, bounced off the center divide barricade, and sideswiped the Honda Accord I was blocking for (hit by a mud/rock slide), and kept going, swerving from side to side up 17 doing about 50mph in the pouring rain.

Last night wasn't much better. Called out at 3:30 in the morning for a flat repair. Ended up being a tweaker trying to steal a newish Mustang from a shop. Wanted me to help him air up two tires that weren't even seated on the rim, cars covered in mud, mud all inside the rims... then he decides he wants me to give him free gas too. He had no ID, claimed the car didn't have keys or fob. Told him I'd have to check with my dispatcher about the gas, and discreetly had dispatch send out Campbell PD. Police roll up, he pulls out my funnel out of his tank and hands it to me, tells me "oh I'm good fer gas, I have 1/4 a tank". Campbell PD starts grilling the guy, he can't get his story straight...Pd tells me "Your services will no longer be needed here..."

So depending how tonight goes...we'll see.

 

Well I can't promise no tweakers (@DannyBFresco You really need to stop with the meth), but we'll have a warm fire, good food, and plenty of alcohol to battle your woes

 

Maybe I should bring some more water....

 

Come on down! The more the merrier! Like I said, I am for sure gonna be there Friday night, and will be attempting a run on Saturday, pending weather. Weather reports are saying rain most of Saturday, so hopefully its not too much that we can't do anything. Prerunners are a blast in the mud, right up until you get stuck. Skinny pedal is your friend, turn off all traction control , get sideways for days!
