He supposedly went to a chevy dealer yesterday. Probably not.

 

No he won't trade it. Then he would not have anything to gripe about.

 

I would love to be at the dealership when he went to trade it. I wonder if he will tell them all the bad things he has posted about this truck so they can drop his resale value. I bet you he won't say one bad thing about it.

 

I wouldn't tell them anything. That's like taking 100's out and burning them in the dealership.

And he said he isn't trading in, so he can keep bugging the shit out of Toyota. My guess is subconsciously he really does love the Taco

 

Something about having the bumper cover move/deform under gentle hand-pressure fails to inspire confidence. Thus, I was pleased to see the truck hold together during this video as he didn't seem to be holding back.

This video also reaffirms my belief that you shouldn't buy a used 4x4 unless you know the history.

 

All dealerships repairs/issues are accessible via car history internet services...

I won't trade it because I know better. Private sales will almost ALWAYS pay out more money to the seller compared to a trade. You get hosed on trades. My dad was in the car business for 30 years.

You might be right but you can get hosed in State taxes if you sell it to a private party instead of a trade in like it is where i live. Cash money you get charged state tax on the whole amount versus paying state taxes on the difference of your trade. I paid cash instead of a trade and the state taxes was over 2000 dollars.

 

I agree, even though I only got 13.5 for my trade, it saved me 750 in taxes.
