I buy and sell containers of produce for work and have a good grasp on transit times..

Typical transit time from Australia to San Diego can be in the window of 45 days from cargo being tendered at port of origin to cargo being discharged from the vessel at port of destination.

@tcBob if you have a confirmed bill of lading # you can easily get the port eta off the shipping lines webpage.... It is publicly shared information on the web, all you need is to know one of the following 1) your BL# 2) your container # 3) the vessel name

I still think to be honest that considering where things have likely gotten, it might criminalize him to provide any further input whether good or bad...especially if you are thinking this might be leading to fraud. If that truly is the case, then not responding is the least of his worries.

I do not feel it was fraud... I believe it was a shitty deal gone terribly wrong and the host had a scheme planned in his head that blew up upon payments being sent....

and I do not agree with you coot, any reply may it have been good and or bad here in this case would have been better than nothing from the host... Tacoma world has a lot of good people and with simple communication people can help people get shit done...

Thankfully one of the good many good people here on this forum @tcBob is helping us, as being a forum we are spread across a big place...
and thankfully I guess it seems maybe @mahaloTaco is still seeing this through to the end with bob maybe I don't know.. albeit not posting updates of any kind.

I understand that and you are right, this is a huge community spread along the whole US and some other countries. I don't know to any degree what has been taking place besides that supposedly a ship is possibly enroute. That being said, I would think that if @mahaloTaco did want to respond to anything he might of done so by now. Im sure he is probably aware of the main portions of communication at this point iin this thread and there is a good chance he might have an outside deterrent from answering...maybe due to some recent legal constraints? Im sure once everyone has gotten their snorkels and the group buy can be concluded, I would bet we might hear something official about what exactly happened.

I know if I were TcBob, I would not want to disclose anything about what has happened until most had their snorkels so that he might be able to alleviate any possible legal actions. That way members could argue that their item took way longer than expected and were lied to some degree, but at the end they got what they paid for. Outside of verifying that @mahaloTaco still lives, I would be surprised if we heard anything else from him during the remainder of this group buy.
