Spindles are the "best" way to lift a PreRunner.

Does not change the factory geometry of the suspension (which means less headaches, no need for aftermarket UCA's)

You could do Maxtrac spindles and Dakar leafs (that will be over 1K though)

    Or

Just throw a progressive AAL back there and call it a day (could also use a lift block, but I would not)

Love them, glad i removed those halogen sidemarkers before they burned anything. Have not replaced them with LED yet, but overall love them. put in some deep yellow fog (55w replacement bulbs) over the break too, love the deep yellow fog look.

Spindle lift is a great choice for prerunners. You can find used maxtrac spindles pop up here and there for 350-400ish. A new leaf pack would be the best for the rear, but an add a leaf will do you well for your budget.
