Stuff and things to make glamorous camping faster and more enjoyable.
Also, do you guys usually remove the front sway bar? We tossed the Tundra sway when we installed the Toytec front coilovers.

Classic TW question post, but time is of the essence.

So found out I'm leaving for Guam for a year. Looking to rid my truck of the spacer lift before I go so that way the wife has a dependable vehicle that isn't gonna spontaneously blow a ball joint or something suspension wise while I'm gone.

I'm thinking OME front and rear would be my cheapest and most dependable route.

What would y'all recommend? Price is an issue, but with taxes coming soon I wouldn't object to a little more.

If she's not wheeling I don't see what the problem is. I don't think space lifts blow up on the street. Depends how many miles, but I've had 140k on stock ball joints.

60k+ and the back end is drooping pretty bad. Ball joints seem better days too.

Actually if anything, just gives you a reason to upgrade haha. Tell her it's unsafe and then you get to blow money for her safety.

Anyone here got a roll n lock bed cover? Any feedback/thoughts on it? I'm thinking about buying one from a guy I know at work. I noticed that it mounts the the factory rails and it renders them useless once it's installed. If you have one, would you buy it again or would you go with a different option? do you miss not being able to use the rail/cleats?

I have a try fold that does the same thing. It uses the factory rails to mount to. I have used the bed cleats to secure stuff down but the cover has been open and you have to remove the bed cleats when you are done to close it. Hope that helps. Thanks again @Techoma for a sweet flip.

If you're worried about it, then do it. I would want the peace of mind while being gone for a year. As you mentioned, I don't think you can go wrong with OME. I seriously considered this kit (http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/st..._Emu_Kit_w/_Dakar_Leaf_Pack_-_05__Tacoma.html) for quite a while before ending up with my ADS stuff. I would either find some take off LCAs (low mileage, replaced with some aftermarket ones) or replace the LBJs while you're at it again simply for the peace of mind. Sucks you're not in AZ anymore as I woulda driven down to help you install!
