i bet it did fine, thing is a beast.

 

It did ok. Didn't do much time in the snow as I'm not experienced driving in it. Planning a trip with some 4wd guys to do a real snow test.

 

Does it count as lifted if I have bigger tires?

Here is a lifted Pre-runner that has done more hardcore trails than most 4X4 trucks out there, including many on this forum. Driver ability comes into play alot. @TRON_

+1, no need for a differential drop, that is a fact

 

I know you are making a joke, but for any 2nd gen 4x4 guys who don't know, don't do a diff drop when you lift.

Yes differential drops for second gens are crapo! Unless going to the 6" lift route, then you have to.

 

Funny,,, not related to the picture above but while off roading at night last may, a couple of friends of mine got pulled over by border patrol in Anza Borrego.

 

Haha yeah. They heard us shooting earlier and wanted to make sure we were being safe. They pulled up like ninjas right as I parked on this crest for the picture. No issues with them, just doing their job

I got a ticket from the border patrol going to a gas station after some anza fun. 55 in the slow lane, got pulled over and questioned for no front plate and no mud flaps then gave me a tint ticket

 

damn....i'm out there all the time, i always see them but never towards Anza!
