    I coached my sons T-ball team about 10 years ago. One of the little bastards was being a total piece of shit so I looked over at his parents and threw my hands up like WTF his dad looked at me and said "your the coach you deal with him" to which I respond "so your ok with me whipping his ass?" I was actually asked to coach again the next year but told them I can barely tolerate my kids what makes you think I want to deal with all of yours.

    My then-12-year old drove every chance she got. She's 13 now and still comes out on trail runs with me, partially to get an opportunity for some wheel time. Downside is that she put dibs on the Tacoma when she gets her license. We'll have to see about that when the time comes.

    This thread made me all warm and fuzzy, Today.
    I love being a dad, i also love only having one kid. Some of the greatest joys of my life is blessing my son with life experiences i missed out on. Playing sports on teams, traveling the world, getting to do things i only dreamed of. Alot of my first time experiences are also his. Its cool to see the first time he he got a base hit in baseball, or score his first goal in soccor, thr day they ride a bike with no training wheels. And heads straight for the down hill in the park.
    To see that fearlessness i once had in him and know thats my boy. This is shit that makes men cry. Its a love some well never understand.

    She doesn't take crap from anyone. But I'm glad, she was born with moderate hearing loss and wears hearing aides. She's going to need that fire to put other kids in their place when they tease her.
