Son is teaching the grandson sign language for please and thank you. @ 15 months old, he has to say both. There are times he wildly waves his hand when he wants something, so you have to try and figure out what he wants. He occasionally says thank you with no prompting.

 

That's a safe bet.

Slept good this morning... must have been tired after first shift back from holiday.

No end to the leaves at your house; sounds exhausting. How are you feeling? DIL doing well I hope? Difficult to stay calm with that worry on your mind. Prayers for ya'll too.

 

Cold and blowing,3-8",next couple of days,highs in the twentys. Raking leaves sounds fun,lol.

The last leaves fall, when the new one's come out. Most of them have fallen now. It's hard to get to them during the week, since it's dark shortly after I get home. But, went out in the dark tonight anyway. I'm doing fine - no major issues, just the usual "lucky to still be on the right side of the dirt" aches and pains . DIL is doing fine - doc said no progression, so it stays that way for at least 5 more weeks. Thanks.

Was 62* today and getting colder the next few days, but thankfully not that cold.

I "love" yard work - gets me off of here and my butt and out moving and getting exercise

Forgot to log out.
Not up to catch up tonight.
Back gave me hell from sleeping accommodations.
I have improvised and stuck extra bunk bed headboard up under sheet of plywood under my air mattress.
I now have a good incline and finally able to breathe.
Much more comfortable.

Winter moved in and here to stay for a few. Wil be summer by Tuesday again.
