when filling the front diff today..

I got lost in the mess of diff fluid and missing the hole sometimes... lol... so whenever the oil filler hole started overfilling i capped it, that ok ya'll think?

 

Perfectly fine - that's what I always do.

oh boy, that's a tuffy, don't have the time to do it till next Monday, but I do worry about stuff like this alot cuz of the damage done if I mess up, my truck was visibly level and I checked it side to side levelness by putting a level in the bed

 

And also, it feels like I put no less than a quart in it, and it also sat there for about 5 minutes dripping out the fill hole, then I filled it a lil bit again just to make sure

How much more are you goin to get into the diff when its coming out of the fill hole........................

 

Well you make a point, I was just wondering if maybe the differential needed to be rotated or the oil needs
to settle
