I can confirm that this dealer is wrong, I just took delivery of my 2017 TRD-OR DCSB with 6MT the other day. Granted it took them 4 months to build one but it was worth the wait; I think they had to find a time when the guy who knew how to install the 3rd pedal and the guy at the end of the line who could use it were both working the same shift.

Now if you're trying to get a TRD OR in ACLB or DCLB with an MT then you're out of luck.

Yes that is very true. Mine took 2 1/2 months. That's because they needed one to be allocated. Once that was done. They then needed to ask to have certain things added. My issue was getting 2017 6mt MGM dbl cab with the premium and technology package. That was the hardest to get. And then I had to go 5 states away to get it. From Pennsylvania to south Carolina to get such truck. I don't think u can get a 6mt in a long bed in any configuration. But I maybe wrong. How I wanted a long bed but I'll deal with what I got.

You are correct. Can't get a long bed double cab MT in any config. Like you that is what I preferred but I got a bed extender and it helps a lot with larger loads. Mine took about 3.5 months to get.

It's the Atlas. Its really perfect for the truck. The bottom has a cut out that's probably large enough to fit over the stock boot retainer. 1.5lbs makes it possible to shift with just your finger tips, if that's your thing. Fits my hand perfectly and since its a globe shape its comfortable on long drives.

Just keep in mind if you decide to make it custom like mine it will take a little extra time. Aside from that I cant say anything bad about the knob or the guy who makes them, Derrik.

What do you mean by, "if the truck is ready to start."? Does that mean if you left it in gear it will not allow you to start the engine and if you left it in neutral you can start it?

The starter gauges the emotional state of the truck. If it feels like working, what it's hopes and dreams are and asks it to show on the Matchbox where the bad touch was.

Does it tell you if the truck has a bad motivator?

Can't wait to buy a 6MT OR this spring. Been researching forever.

Anyway, as I have yet to drive one, is there a dead pedal in the manual truck? The one thing that has bothered me about my friend's Wrangler is that there is no dead pedal... kind of annoying for daily driving.

More or less. I'm not sure that there is a plastic cover that makes it look like a pedal, but there is definitely a ledge there wide enough for your foot. My floor mats cover it, and I forget what it looks like under there.

the dead pedal is enough. i also ordered some husky mats for the MT and i'm guessing it will add a little bit to it, maybe 1/2" or so? anyone have the weatherbeater mats for their MT? does it add height to the dead pedal?

Excellent. You never realize how nice it is to have one until you drive a manual without one. Thanks gents!

Ok what about one with *only* a towing package, and not Premium & Tech Pkg? How do I order one? I tried again tonight and they said it was impossible...

I'm sure this has been covered already... my 6MT is pissing me off.
. 1If I lug the engine just a tad, the truck stutters, almost like there is some fuel pump issue...

    2. At 55mph at 2500rpm in different gears I hear the rear end howl, that I've heard people talk about...

Any solutions to these two things?

    Mostly stuff I built.
Your dealer is trying to sell you what is in the build que. you have to wait for an allocation for what you are wanting. Takes a while. @nevadabugle, @hookembevo and my self all have what you are wanting. You want a 7545 with towing only.
