Been shopping for more rally car parts, debating between a coilover setup or KYB AGX's and new Stock Springs.

Anyone know much about Polaris RZR's? I'll admit I really know nothing about them but I see them up camping/hunting all the time and they look fun as hell. Any suggestions? I'd be in the market for 900+ 2 seater.

They're too wide for a lot of ATV trails. If you live in an area with trails that are designated by vehicle size, width, weight, etc, a lot of them cut off at 48" wide, which is about the widest four wheeler made. I looked at them but for most hunting trips a good four wheeler is better for one person and two four wheelers are better in case you get stuck.

I'd mostly use it camping and on old logging roads. Any suggestions on what I should be looking for price wise? 2017's are $16k+ and not sure that's the type of vehicle you wanna buy used, if you get what I mean.

More like daycare bill, it's like a second mortgage. mods are slim. VW bought back my diesel Volkswagen so I picked up this truck on a lease special whim.

Honestly I don't think so. She may have been able to smell it up there, but not enough to make her sick.
I finally finished up. Took way longer than I had thought it would, but it looks pretty good to me. Only issue is a small spot on the bumper where I can see a tiny bit of chrome. Hoping it will stay so I don't have to do that cap again! Lol.
Also put the grill insert back in with clips and then mindlessly screwed it back in. As soon as I shut the hood and looked over I was like shit!...I forgot to put its 18 screws back in for the insert....

RZR's are bad ass and if trail width isn't an issue the wider stance can benefit by straddling the ruts of four wheelers. They are stupid expensive and you could get a decent used jeep for what one would cost new with upgrades.

Agreed, but I have money invested in my Taco and 1) Cant rationalize towing a Jeep with my Taco to go camping and 2) Say I buy a used Jeep, mod it a bit and wanna go camping..no room for anything unless I tow a trailer. So I'm pretty much set on buying a 6x12 trailer to haul a RZR and gear. I can get a used trailer for a descent price but RZR's are a whole nother story.

Not sure you are serious. Sounds like you are rationalizing the purchase these very expensive toys.

I like to think us Tacoma owners are a bit ahead of the curve when it comes to watching our money.

I gotta ask. Is the retirement fund funded? Are kids school funds on par? I don't want to be a buzz kill, but these rigs only have 1 purpose and it is to eat your money. The cost of the rig is only a small part.

If you can afford one of these toys, you can afford to tow it or a jeep with a dedicated tow rig.

In my state you can rent these. Waaay better deal.

I should have given you more data. The geographical middle of the lower peninsula. Cadillac would be very close for the overall center of the state.

I'm not against the RZR but you may be better off with a mid 90s Jeep slightly modded pulling a trailer with camping gear instead of pulling the RZR on a trailer. It's just a little more useful and not so single purposed. I have no room to talk crap on getting what you want, I have tons of single purpose crap, just throwing ideas out there.

Money isn't an issue. The only credit I have against me is my house, no kids, 10% into retirement + state retirement. All I wanted was advise/opinions on RZR's since I know I'll be buying some kind of UTV this spring.

It's can ams new side by side boosted, push to start, fox long travel, 31" tires I believe, some new power steering feature, there are some videos in YouTube comparing them side by side with the RZR turbo.

Then I was correct. You are a bit more careful with money than average.

I just see lots of new hires around here go deeply in debt as soon as they land a full time job.

By all means, treat yourself to a reward for good living. I'll shut up now.
