What really irritates me is when someone parks their nice car far away from everyone else and some moron in a POS parks right next to them, there could be 200 spots right up front... but they want to park next to the "nice" car...

I totally agree, that's a real jerk move. If I park in the back of the lot, be it with my Taco or 280Z, and am in my spot, there is absolutely no reason for someone to be a d**k and park as close to me as possible.

It's one thing if someone is deliberately taking up multiple spots at the front of a lot or in a crowded lot, but if they're minding their own business (espically far away), let them be. There's no point in being cruel to someone who has done nothing wrong just because of what they've got or cause some moron would get a giggle out of it.

I parked my F250 far away because it was big and had big doors.

I would not call it an entitled asshat thing, I'd call it an observation or judgement based on actions. Let me help you understand through an analogy. You witness someone kick a homeless person while they are on the ground. What observation can you make by witnessing the action? Be honest Hondah.

Now quickly compare and contrast that with you are driving in a parking lot in a busy shopping center. Near the front of the store someone has parked a vehicle and they are taking up two or three spaces. Note that I did NOT reveal any kind of vehicle. What observation can you make by witnessing the vehicle parked in two/three spaces? Be honest Hondah.

You see, this is where you're wrong Hondah. Let me explain....... it simply doesn't matter (it is not germane) that you don't trust people. You have just told everyone on TW that YOUR vehicle takes precedence over all others by parking like an asshat. Does not matter if your (or mine) car costs $1000 or $100,000 as the "entitled" part means that you have taken MORE than the appropriated slots for parking. Do you understand? LOL....My name is not Sparky, but it's kinda cool that you gave me an old school nickname!

Again, you are wrong with this thought process. By installing sliders/car alarms/dash cams/steel bumpers for protection, that does NOT inconvenience anyone...... while taking up two/three parking spots DOES. Nobody is saying you can't protect your most valuable assets, it is admirable. Here's another analogy, this hopefully will assist:

You own a house, and don't want any thefts to occur. You build a huge wall around it, but in doing so you build on your neighbor's land. In Hondah's mind (using your post-logic) this is OK, because Hondah's property is supreme, and takes priority over your neighbors property.

And.... again you are wrong. If you search the asshole parking thread, you'll see that I regularly post pics of other vehicles. I sincerely hope you have learned some situational awareness. I can help you grow and understand some very complex issues.... but you have to ask for assistance first.

Yeah. She actually did the right thing. Went in and had me paged over the PA. Got all the insurance info. Already have the initial estimate done by the Toyota body shop. Just waiting for her insurance to call me back and get things rolling.

Wow. Nice to see there are still some folks out there who own their mistakes. We're all human, we all f' up sometimes. We show our character in what we then do about it.

Then I'd have to say that it doesn't belong here. This story has integrity and personal responsibility in it...and those have no purpose in this thread.

Oooh, this is a toughie. On the one hand...clearly in violation of the "keep it between the lines, dumbass" rule. On the other...it's the roach coach, the food wagon, the taco truck. And I'm hungry. SO, I'm inclined to think "asshole" because it's a Chevy, but they only make those food slide-ins for full size trucks so they can't help it.

I need to kick this off to the jury for deliberation.
