RIP sears...wait does this mean my craftsman tools no longer have lifetime replacements?

I would bet that Stanley will honor the warranty under the craftsman brand.

I feel like if they are failing now, would JC Penney really want to risk on bailing them out? Either way it sounds like I will have to source out new tools now.

Not sure about tools, I was referring to the licences.

But back to tools, guess there is Snap on.

Is this why I was seeing craftsman tools being sold everywhere and not just sears? Or did other stores always carry craftsman? I never noticed before.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Likewise, our Sears and JcPenney are all desolate. And now Macy's is also going out.

Amazon and Suck-mart are killing them.

The only other place you should see Craftsman is Kmart.

Damn I thought Macy's was doing decent...I think the age of the brick and mortar dept stores could be heading for a bad road.

Is Kmart still a thing? I thought they died in the 90's.

We have two in the area...about 35 miles apart. You can get Craftsman tools and Kenmore appliances there.
