Damn finally caught up. Now out to shovel the driveway.

If I can get my shit done early this weekend I am down to check out some shenanigans.

Driving to work was fun

Had to hit an untouched parkling lot

 

Friend in coal Creek canyon... 7 miles as the crow flies plowed to times yesterday... Well over a foot, then got 14" overnight.

And here i sit with a measley 5" total from the storm.

I may just go drive around in it for a while.

 

I work Saturday otherwise I'd make the trek to learn some recovery skills..maybe the October trip..or this summer. Or next big dump we could go out and intentionally get stuck (keep ya third gen comments to yourself)

 

No school! Time to go out and try the s/c in the snow!

 

I think I'm going to do the same in a little while. Go snag some pictures and goof off in the snow a little further west.

 

I was considering going up snowboarding until I heard how bad i70 was, now I'm contemplating some light wheeling, we'll see

If a recovery class is going to happen it should be before the spring so that everyone isn't waiting until October to learn. But I will talk with the RT group and see if we cannot also set something up for RT as well since we always have newbies at RT.

 

This Saturday is still working for me, so there will probably be some info for that posted tonight.

Speaking of the tires... they seemed to hold just fine after I filled them up at lunch yesterday.

I didn't check the pressure this morning but they looked fine. I have no idea

Maybe we should sticky a new thread with some of this info and lock it from other posting?

I know @BDN also put up some rules of the 4x4 trail last spring that was a good refresher for me. Especially on Alpine loop during FJ summit (Timing coincidence, ran into @NaZRaQ and family too), people from Colorado followed same rules, others Fucked shit up.
