    Friend in coal Creek canyon... 7 miles as the crow flies plowed to times yesterday... Well over a foot, then got 14" overnight.

    And here i sit with a measley 5" total from the storm. :pout:

    I work Saturday otherwise I'd make the trek to learn some recovery skills..maybe the October trip..or this summer. Or next big dump we could go out and intentionally get stuck (keep ya third gen comments to yourself)

    If a recovery class is going to happen it should be before the spring so that everyone isn't waiting until October to learn. But I will talk with the RT group and see if we cannot also set something up for RT as well since we always have newbies at RT.

    Maybe we should sticky a new thread with some of this info and lock it from other posting?

    I know @BDN also put up some rules of the 4x4 trail last spring that was a good refresher for me. Especially on Alpine loop during FJ summit (Timing coincidence, ran into @NaZRaQ and family too), people from Colorado followed same rules, others Fucked shit up.
