The steed proved loyal enroute to work this morning.

Fellow FWD vehicles... not so much.

Guess its time to suit up and go play in the driveway snow. Then go play in some other snow later if I survive.

Elizabeth schools closed today due to frigid temperatures. We only have about 3 solid inches of snow right now.
When I was in school snow days were only but a myth. Kids these days just don't know.

When I lived up there we had under 10 snow days. And that was from kindergarten to sixth grade. Kinda sucked but meh it was alright

Snow days down here are rather pleasant. In the Dakotas kids that walked to school showed up with missing limbs due to frostbite.

Well I did, but only made it down to drop off the trash, and by then my thumb was hurting like a mofo. By the time I got back, it was pretty painful. Thats attempt number three at hand coverings! They were Auclair mittens..

Id really like to find a good pair...

Calling all snowmobilers, what are good gloves? Since it appears that I have to spend well beyond $100, I would like them to be right the first time.

higher your f-stop will help keep more in focus...problem is the snowflake doesn't have much thickness to it, so it's hard to hit that field of depth compared to the background...
