It wasn't nice going in the hole on this job but this will make future stuff a hell of a lot easier. I just know now that I'm going to need the full set.

 

Back story:

Deputy walks into our station one time and was one I didn't particularly care for anyway because he was a dipshit.

This makes it easy to do thick jackets and jackets where I have to run the zipper through the hoop. It's a royal pain in the ass to try that with the regular one's and usually something will move and everything goes to shit with even the slightest movement. Where you're dealing with $100+ jackets movement isn't an option.

My supplier lady decided to tell me about another machine today and all the neat shit it does like what I'm doing right now and how you won't have to measure with that one because it has a camera above the needle in it. Pop the design in there turn the camera on and move it on a live view where you want it and hit start. Would only cost me my machine plus $4k. I respectfully declined at the current time.

 

Tacomaworld is hosted by soft layer. Locally run out of dallas. i have a few friends that work there, i may have to make a couple calls.

@tcBob are these issues on soft layers side or did you make some changes that are causing these errors?

 

You talking about the errors popping up when you go to a new page or something else. I got a error earlier that said I didn't have permission to do that and then one that gave a one line sentence about an error when going to the next page.

Got to pay to play with the big boys. Commercial machines are expensive and the accessories are even more expensive. 2 hoops have cost me $550. There is a huge jump when leaving the home embroidery machines behind and going to a multi-needle machine. Funny though the thread is half the cost and you get 5x as much. You also have to buy supplies in much larger quantities but it is also cheaper.

Maintenance is 3x as much just for them to look at the big machine versus them doing the maintenance on a home machine. You learn pretty quick to do your own maintenance and work on the machine.
