    I just found out last night that my Grandmother will be receiving the congressional medal of honor next month. She was in the one of the first group of women during World War II to earn their wings, class 44-W-2. She tested airplanes after they came out of maintenance and flew them before the cadets could fly them. Never thought I'd get meet anyone who has earned the award, let alone be a blood relative to one. Pretty exciting.

    positive, they awarding to her and other women who go their wings around her, as well as a few who were killed in the war. I'm not 100% positive of everyone who is receiving them so I don't want to comment fully.

    R U sure? The MOH has a requirement that combat actions be involved...unless something has changed. I thought you use to have to do something to get the NOBEL PRIZE to until Obama stepped up...in any event if it's true or not....your grandma is the greatest for the sacrifices she had to make and for doing the dangerous job as a test pilot...
