anybody choose wrong color truck

OP just eat the loss and go trade it in on the truck you really want.

 

Personally I wish I could have all the colors, but I'll suffice with my magnetic gray.

 

There are a handful of colors that I think are stunning on Taco's, inferno being one of them.

 

Was getting BBP but canceled my order and bought a black 4 cylinder.
(I'm not the sharpest tack in the box.)

 

My girlfriend doesn't like the Quicksand.. but that just makes me like it even more

 

I like the white but if I bought again today I think I'd get the Barcelona red. My wife talked me out of the Barcelona initially because she said it was an "old man color" ....

She said the inferno was absolutely hideous and to me it just looked like a color I would get tired of really quickly.... so that was never on my option list.

White always looks clean, it is not too loud and it is easy to maintain. I don't regret getting white, I just think the Barcelona is a nice balance between depth, vibrancy and maintenance.

 

In all honesty the same thing happened to me when I purchased my first NEW Tacoma. I purchased a previous year model at a good discount from a few they had on the lot. I picked the red between red & white. It grew on me but wished I had waited it out on a different color.

 

"work trucks" are usually white. Mine must be a work truck then....

 

Wanted black, went to buy black, black was just sold. Bought the silver one they had on the lot for the same deal. I wanted silver or black anyways, so not a big deal, but I do wish I would have just waited for black sometimes.

Inferno and QS were on my radar for a bit, but I'm positive I'd grow out of those color real fast. They are those colors that look good, but on others peoples trucks.

 

That's the very reason I don't like it. I don't want to stand out in a crowd. I might be somewhere that I am not supposed to be.

 

I wanted MGM and that what I got, my previous tacoma was gray also.

Bright colored trucks attract attention.. be it cops or robbers, and even girls for that matter... they are all trouble.

Eyes on the road hands at 10 and 2, hit the gas and keep on goin.
Same thing with cops and robbers.....boom problem solved.

 

Happy with my Blazing Blue !! My last three Tacoma's were black

 

got a Pro in super white because it was the Pro i could get. first MT allocation in the Gulf states so i said yes. never had a white vehicle before... feeling like a fleet truck driver. not a fan personally, but the truck looks cool and drives perfect. no complaints.

 

Since you had black Tacomas for a long time, -- how is the keeping the Blue clean and nice looking as compared to the black ones?
I have a blue ordered --and have been hoping it would not be near as bad as a black (which I would never buy)!

 

well I am a Super Clean Freak , so it would be hard for me to answer, I love keeping my truck clean and never Off Road . Until I bought the Blue I was going with another Black ,but new this blue was different then the other current blue.( Not sure what it was called) and I saw one a dealer before I ordered mind

Have owned Toyota's since 1970, First Toyota Truck 1989 4x4 short bed Single cab

 

I'm happy with my silver/black. I would just like to change the wheels and tires.
