    I plan to run to the battery, but how did you route that wire? Does it go along the frame and you zip it to the frame?

    That's what I did. I put a switch in the cab and came up through the grommit under the driver floormat. Then went thrugh the grommit in the firewall. You could just run it up under the engine to the battery but be sure to zip tie and secure it to something. A wire loom the whole length is probably best.

    I agree. However, I ran along and through the frame a few times and ziptied along the way. I didnt detail that because as you do it it becomes obvious. Just keep to the frame, on the inside, and high so you dont snag it offroading and you'll be okay. I did it once, never redid it, and have been okay for 2 years roughly.

    My dad and I found a hot wire in the driver side brake light and hooked it up there. Have to turn the lights on then flip the switch in the bed to have them come on

    FYI, I just picked some of these lights up at the local Harbor Freight. On Saturday, they were 14.99. Sunday morning, 9.99 on sale. I got two boxes :)

    Oh, this is in the Lantana/West Palm Beach, Florida location.

    not really sure that is english BUT with the harbor freight kit, the relay is integrated with the switch. If you're going to do your own wiring, one relay is fine

    well i bought this light kit from harbor freight but all it has is a 15amp fuse and a (on-off) switch i want to put a relay in there but all o'reilly's had was a 12v 40amp relay i just wanted to make sure i dont catch my truck on fire.

    Wire the fuse between the battery and the relay. If the lights draw more than 15amps the fuse will blow before the relay or the rest of the wiring. I put all my fuses within 6" or so of the positive terminal. Shortest possible distance for the electricity to flow and get stopped before frying anything else.
