Yea renting another ladies basement haha but this one is much nicer. Mostly furnished. Kitchen and bathroom. Bigger room too. And cheap cheap cheap. $550 all utilities and Internet included. Goes up to 650 when devin comes but still. Pretty cheap.

I don't have that much. Enough though..other then truck stuff haha

Devin is moving there too? Does she have a few months off? Seems like a good deal for Sheridan though.

Well she has been just working since she graduated. Hates living at home in Maine. And she'll be closer to the schools she is auditioning for. So yea figured may as well do it now. We where living together in St. Louis basically. Stayed at my placed but cooked at hers haha

Be nice to not be so far apart all the time.

Her plan is to work part time and practice. Hopefully she gets in to some schools with good scholarships.

Sounds like you've never truly worked in the music industry. If you hate Denver you'll loathe the music business. Like was already stated, you'll find fakers and posers everywhere with a few real people mixed in.

I think I saw a few federal jobs looking for classical guitar as experience . Tough field but I guess you can always fall back on guitar lessons to get by.

Better to have tried and succeeded than to never try and surely fail.

Haha I have been working it for a long time. Once you cross a certain threshold. There are no posers.

Granted to get there you gotta work. But that's my goal. I worked with the st louis symphony and there aren't any slackers there.

Studio musicians doing film scores are the same way, as are the composers, and directors, and producers and engineers. It cost way way way to much money to do that kind of work and have someone fuck it up on all levels.

My goal is not to work with every shmojo with a guitar that thinks they are the next rock star with a shitty band.

    Fuck that.

We will have to see how things go with the Wyo's education budget, but Lander is at the top of our list to try for this spring. Also considering Laramie, Buffalo/Sheridan to start with anywhere to get back to the mountains.

That's kinda disappointing to hear, but not too surprising. I've always wondered if thats how everyone kinda feels about their home town. Everyone I talk to seems to think Lusk is a great little town, but I cant imagine going back there anytime soon. Buffalo has always been the first choice of the two, but jobs are much more limited there.

That's an interesting point. Powell is my home town. And I still like it though. Lots of cool options mountain wise in all directions. Not as close as the others you mentioned. But still nice.

    Budget has been hit hard.

    Also boring and safe.

    Lol!

I could never live in Lusk.... @justinf307 maybe it's just because every time I'm there I'm hating the drive to and from WI.

This thread is taking a horse trail to the waterhole off the main taco trail lately haha hope all you guys find some security in a solid out-of-school job. Welcome to real life :p
