Lots to see and do. North of US50 just east of Sand Mountain lies Dixie Valley. You could take a run up there and look for abandoned military equipment and mock compounds. The Navy uses that valley for training for sighting bombing runs. Just be careful, might be impassable around the geothermal plant due to mud. Fencemaker Pass will take you over to Lovelock.

    Never ending......$$$
@jberry813 ..thanks for the info...in all the years I've been driving up to the cabin this is the longest I've ever waited for 80 to open. I usually drive up late at night and the past 10 years I've never had the freeway closed on me. It definitely was a shit show last night. I haven't seen that many tow trucks in a long time.

    Thanks for the map info!!!!

Before I lived here I made a lot of trips up here, basically every weekend in the winter. You can do the same thing going east to west in Truckee too. If you get off in Truckee, take the local roads all the way to Donner and that ramp is always open.

I guess I didn't need to order these OME 887s after all, which I was going to install this weekend but... Front Kings are already shipping out for delivery on Monday.

Sacramento is 100 square miles, or 64,000 acres. If all the water (1,000,000 acre feet) in Folsom was contained within the city limits of Sacramento, it would be 15' under water. It obviously doesn't work that way in reality. I just wanted you all to know how much of a dork I am.

Downsouth Motorsports. I also ordered 12" rears, but those will take a while, and I have to wait for the BAMF kit anyway, so I have a set of Bilstein B110's for the rear for now.
