Just bought it 3 days ago (less than 10,000 mls. Plan on a 4" lift, winch, bumpers, and we'll see what else. My ultimate goal is to replace my 2005 Jeep TLJ Unlimited.
I'm new here, just picked up a '15 TRD PRO and want to lift it 3-4". I'm looking for recommendations and warnings.

What is the purpose behind wanting to lift it 3"-4"?

Not sure if the OME BP51 system is out for the 2nd Gen Tacoma just yet... but that would be my pick (2.5"). Definitely worth the wait.

I wonder what the consensus is, as I had a 4Runner Trail at the time I was looking into the system. I bought my '12 Taco with an OME heavy 50mm lift so I haven't kept track for release dates on other platforms. I would much prefer the alleged adjust-ability of the BP51... heavy is rough.

Going to Toyota to ask about the model. I have Certificate from them that it is.

No offence but alot of the guys on TW prob know more about Tacomas then Toyota does. It's not the right color, does not have the right grill either. It's prob a Sport or an Offroad. If you take some pictures or give us some more info we can tell you what you've got.

By the looks of the avatar pic it's either an OR or an SR5. The good news is you can build up to or better than a stock TRD Pro for cheaper than the Pro's MSRP. You'll find that out soon enough around here. Welcome to TW fellow New Englander!
