Has anyone managed to install a hard shell that does not leak? Specifically at the tailgate. I'm being told that 3rd gens' are hard to seal because of the bed, especially because the tailgate is thicker than past models. I'm being told(after having it installed) that there is no way to keep the water from pooling on top of the gate, then running back in to the bed.

I have an ARE MX cap. The rear flip door has a lip on the bottom that covers the top of the tailgate. So no water enters the bed from cap. But I've had dust enter between the sides of the tailgate and the bed. I'll probably install some weatherstripping this spring and that should seal up the bed.
