Take a hostess pie remove from wrapper place on a dish and see how long it takes to dissolve away . you'll be surprised how long it'll take to be reclaimed

But put it in a microwave, knock a hole in the top with a fork, add a little butter and it's awesomeness. Apple is the best. I use to love the lemon pies but it got to be too much acid for me.

You did help Rob, and thank you! Yes pulling any wild game out of the freezer that has gone bad makes me groan and almost cry. Don't like any food to go bad for that matter. Any time I cook which is most days I have left overs, on purpose but hard to cook for 1-2 people. What ever I get would get a lot of use that is for sure.

Thanks for the clarification! It has been somewhere about 25 years ago and was going by what the store owner told me there. Makes sense. Well not throwing out tons of coffee, isn't there a law against that?!

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms should be the name of a convenience store and not a gubernut agency. At least IMO.

I used to drive 60 miles from Currituck to Little Creek every day and back. Did it in my sleep more than once pretty sure. Was scary when I got to the pier and realize I didn't even remember the drive. Would leave at O'dark thirty to beat the traffic. The traffic, ouch!

On the other a retried Sr. Chief that works with me and I were discussing today that it is -4 and going to be -10 in a few hours. The conversation turned to how the Tidewater area wouldn't have been a bad place to have retired.

He is the owner, it is fine. Screw what the hell anyone else thinks. At least in my truck. Then again I like the smell of wet Tollers and bird breath.

I had a nutitionist at my VA show me a opened " out of the wrapper " hostess fruit pie he had sitting on a window sill in his office . This pie still looked new even though it was 1.5 yrs past the exp date

Now would you eat such a pie knowing what the preservatives would do to your insides

You're kidding, right? Most of the food in the stores and restraunts is so full of that crap, don't stop at a fruit pie. We should all have enough preservatives in our systems to keep us alive long after we're dead. Salt, pink salt, liquid smoke... and that's just the stuff I can pronounce. You drink soda? Read labels if you want an awakening not some VA quack's science project.
